I'm still writing...
I have not written a blogpost in several months. I haven’t been sitting around eating chocolate &watching soap operas. For those of you who don’t know, I’ve been writing a bookbased on my life.
Recently my Dad remindedme of something I said a long time ago. ‘You can’t rely on someone or somethingelse to make yourself happy.’
What people say or don’t sayin person or through social media, shouldn’t be the difference between youbeing happy or sad.
That is easier said thandone.
It is hard watching otherpeople exude happiness if you’re feeling inadequate yourself.
How we react to life ups& downs is up to the individual. Sure I have days where I feel down, we alldo. I was dealt a crappy hand in life; its’ how I choose to react thatdetermines how rewarding my life will be.
Writing a book is not aneasy thing to do. Sometimes I write for hours & other times the words just don’tflow the way I want them to. It’s teamwork to get every word in the right spot.
Without the help of myfriend Ben who is a published author himself, I wouldn’t know exactly where tobegin. It’s helpful to have someone other than your family tell you that you’reon the right track.
I feel blessed to have somany family & friends from near & far to cheer me on.
It’s the start of a NewYear. Throughout this year my goal is to write more, worry less & makepeople smile. You just smiled didn’t you?
